Puppy Training

Starting as early as 5 months to 10 months old

• Introduction to Birds
• Introduction to the hunting environment
• Introduction to Check cords
• Introduction to gunfire
• Introduction to Pointing
• Includes one training session a week for handler training.
• Birds Used Will be Pigeons and quail

The Puppy program includes all of the following items:

• Dog Boarding
• Food
• 4 - 5 field sessions per week

Basic Gun Dog Training

• Gun Dog Training Manners on game (Steady to Wing and/or Shot)
• Some Obedience (Whoa, Honoring brace mate, heel and steadiness)
• Collar Conditioning
• Water work, including some retrieving
• By the end of this phase, your dog should be ready for the upcoming hunting season, and will be ready to participate in many beginning tests and trials of AKC, AF or NAVHDA.
• Includes one training session a week for handler training.
• Birds Used Will be Pigeons and quail

You, as the owner, will be taught to handle the dog, continue on with the training and learn to read your dog in individual sessions.

The monthly Gundog training package includes all of the following items:

• Boarding
• Food
• Three - Five field sessions per week
• $50.00 of birds included per Month
• 2 Month Minimum Required

Advanced Gun Dog

• Designed to pass AKC Senior/Master Hunter tests and NAVHDA UPT/UT tests.
• This training is designed around training the concepts necessary to pass these tests. We can tailor a training programs specific to the tests you want to participate in.
• This training and the concepts your dog will learn can be put to very good use, in the field. Whether upland game or waterfowl hunting is your passion.
• Force Fetch Training is Available as well
• Includes one training session a week for handler training.
• Birds used will be pigeons and quail

The monthly Advanced Gundog training package includes all of the following items:

• Boarding
• Food
• Three - Five field sessions per week
• $50.00 of birds included each month
• 2 Month Minimum for Advanced Training
• 6 Month Minimum for all NAVHDA Training

Transportation Fees to Airport

If your dog needs to be picked up/ delivered at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport
a $75.00 Transportation fee will be assessed.

If your dog is to be picked up or delivered to the Waco airport
No transportation fee will be assessed.

Handling fees and expenses to Trials and Tests

Actual expenses include all fuel, lodging and food for the event.
Expenses will be divided evenly among all clients with dogs entered into the event. Plus a $40.00 Handling fee, per event, will be charged to each owner.
